Recently, cases have become more frequent when various kinds of problems occur with modified APK files when connecting to Google Play games. To disable Google Play Games, do the following.
1. Open the Google Play Games app.
2. Call up the menu by clicking on the three dots at the top right and select Settings.
3. Disable the "Log in to supported games automatically" option.
